42″ Crest 2000 Series Ceiling Fan

I pulled out my Crest this morning. I know there have been a lot of requests for a better video of this fan, so here you go. I show the fan on all speeds this time!

UPDATE: I was able to fix the light kit issue with this fan! After stringing an extra black wire through the switch housing directly to the light kit, the light kit now works independently of the fan. The light can be on or off with the fan on any setting, and it works fine. The whole fan works perfectly now!

My Encon Monarch ceiling fan with Heritage blades

Hertage blades recorded on July 12 2011 and original blades recorded on July 13 2011) UPDATE 7/28/11:This fan is FINALLY spinning fast again,YAY!

Here is my Encon Monarch ceiling fan again with Hert@ge blades on it. I took 2 other videos of the same fan,one with cane and 3 light-kit (that I took off the Sierra fan),and the other with the 4 light-kit on it (which doesn’t work right now).

You’ll see that the blue wire (for the light-kit) broke off by accident at the end of November 2010,and it really needs to be fixed. I still haven’t replaced the capacitor yet. Maybe when my dad comes back home (and after I take the fan down),maybe my dad can handle the capacitor. It still uses the slide dimmer wall control (which I’m going to remove it off the fan and attach it to the light). I’m going to a store with my dad this Sunday to find a solid state speed control to buy for my black bedroom fan (the HB Farmington).

Hampton Bay Farmington Ceiling Fan

Hampton Bay Farmington 52″ Black Ceiling Fan. My dad got me this fan on December 2009,and this fan is from The Home Depot. It didn’t came with the 4 spotlight-kit,it was from the Home Depot too. The Spotlight-kit wasn’t originally black,it was originally white,my dad and I spray-painted black after buying it ,and it’s a 3-way pull-chain for the light. It didn’t came with the tag “Farmington” that was on the fan,I just put it on the fan anyway. The Fan and light are in 2 switches (shown at the beginning), the one on the left for the light,and the one on the right for the fan. It’s got Walnut Blades on the other side (and there’s a video of it with the walnut blades).

Guibb Ceiling Fan – Update

Here is an update on the Guibb ceiling fan that I got from Bionicle Builder B. It’s a well built fan made in Taiwan. I am very impressed with the air movement on this fan. It’s a 42″ but moves air as well as a 52″ fan. If you have seen Guibb fans or similar, please comment. Thank you.

Canarm 42″ Hugger Ceiling Fan

Here’s a 42″ hugger mount fan that I got from a local recycling depot. I looked up the model number and the search results show that it’s a Canarm. This fan is from 1995 and is a very basic fan. The air movement is not the best, similar to a cheap 36″.
