PART 5 HOW TO CEILING FAN WIND TURBINE MOV 2

THIS IS A VIDEO TO SHOW THOSE WHO DONT WANT TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY FOR THE BIG SYSTEMS OUT THERE. THE BLACK UNIT IN THE BACK GROUND IS THE ONE THAT IM MAKING FOR A FRIEND WHO WILL USE IT WITH GREAT GLADNESS. HIS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WAS ALMOST COMPLETELY DESTROYED BY LIGHTENING. IT WOULD COST TOO MUCH FOR REPAIRS AND NEW DEPOSITS AND OLD BILL TO RECONNECT, ESPECIALY WITH REPAIRS FOR A NEW SERVICE BOX AND UPDATING TO A BREAKER SYSTEM AND THE WIRES DESTROYED IN THE HOUSE. ALTHOUGH THIS UNIT WILL NOT NORMALLY SUPPLY A NORMAL HOUSE HOLD IT WILL ALLOW HIM TO HAVE LIGHTS , RADIO, TV , CELLPHONE CHARGING, AND A FEW MORE THINGS BUT NOT ALL AT ONCE OR CONSTANTLY. BUT 20 DOLLARS A DAY FOR GAS IN A GENERATOR IS NOT AN OPTION EITHER. A BAG OF ICE, AND A COOLER IS. WE ARE MAKING A SOLAR HOT WATER HEATER AS WELL. BY 1:00 PM HE WILL HAVE ENOUGH WATER TO DO DISHES AND GET A NICE HOT SHOWER. THEN RELAX BY THE TV OR RADIO FOR A FEW HOURS ON STORED ENERGY. THEN GO TO SLEEP WITH A SMILE. IF HE GETS UP IN THE NIGHT HE CAN JUST TURN ON THE LIGHT. AND ITS ALL FREE. I HAVE ONE CONFESSION TO MAKE ABOUT THE ONE IN THE FIRST VIDEO THAT EVERYONE HAS COMPLEMENTED ON FROM THE BEGINNING. THAT IS , THAT THE ONE THAT IS IN THE VIDEO IS THE 7th OR 8th ONE I DID. I DID IT FOR SOMEONE ELSE BUT I DESTROYED ONE OF THE COIL SETS IN IT BY PULLING ON THE WIRES TO HARD WHILE I WAS RETHREADING THE WIRES TO COME OUT THE OTHER SIDE. BUT THE 12 VOLT SYSTEM INSTEAD OF 24 VOLT SYSTEM WILL NOT SLOW THE BLADES DOWN WHEN UNDER A LOAD SO IT PERFORMS AT ITS LOWERED MAXIMUM VOLTAGE MOST OF THE TIME. IT SEEMS TO KEEP MY SHOP RADIO AND FLOURESENT LIGHT GOING AS MUCH AS I NEED IT TO EXCEPT FOR WHEN IT RAINS AND THE WIND DOESNT BLOW FOR A FEW DAYS. ONE OF THE CEILING FAN MOTORS I HAVE IN THE SHOP WILL REPLACE THE ORIGIONAL U2B DEBUTED SPECIAL WITH MORE MAGNETS AND TWICE THE COILS FOR MORE OUTPUT. THE BLACK ONE IS CRANKING OUT 5 TIMES THE POWER ALREADY, IM JELOUS. AND IT COGS REAL HARD. AND WHEN YOU SHORT THE WIRES IT GETS REAL HARD TO TURN. THAT IS A GOOD TEST OF EFFICIENCY. ANY DC OR AC PERMANENT MAGNET MOTOR THAT YOU CAN SHORT THE WIRES OUT ON AND IT DOESNT WANT TO TURN IS A DARNED GOOD WIND TURBINE. IF WE ADD ANOTHER SET OF MAGNETS TO HIS IT WILL DUOBLE THE VOLTAGE AND WE WILL HAVE TO GO TO A HIGHER VOLTAGE BATTERY BANK WHICH IS GOOD SEEING AS THE COILS CAN ONLY PUT OUT 1 AMP PER SET. THERE ARE 2 SETS SO 2 AMP TIMES 48 VOLTS = 100 WATTS SO IF WE ADD THE MAGS IT WILL BE A 200 WATT UNIT WITHOUT HEATING UP THE WIRES BUT WE WILL HAVE TO GET 7 OR 8 BATTERIES. OR AT LEAST 4 OR 5 . TIME WILL TELL. MUDD

    my opinion of vertical axis wind turbines is they drag too much, but they are good for low level turbulant winds.

What is your opinion of vertical vs. propeller type systems and (2) Can you recommend any websites where I can get a more clear picture of what the entire system looks like from generator to home appliance.     the diode trick is just basic rectification circuit.
    What it does is turn ac to dc. your batteries can then be charged and the batteries will act as a voltage regulator.
    what the charge controler will do is: get the maximum out of your solar or wind turbine. and it will protect your batteries from overcharge.

    i stopped my work because i have to buy a charge controller. But i dont want to spend money i want to create it with what i already have. So will this diode trick do a similar job as a charge controller or is that part is still ahead? im moving to the next video now and waiting for your answer before i start my work again.     Thanks for the info. I kind of figured they used different switching for the voltages with rectifiers configurations for powering and recharging at higher voltages. that way they can get more power with less amps and smaller wires.

  11. no you will not …
    no you will not have to rewire. you have it right. GOOD JOB>) .Dont worry about if the wiring is paralel or series on each at the same time. What you are trying to accomplish is matching the output voltage to the battery voltage.
    The battery voltage should be about 1/2 to 1/3 the open voltage for best results.
    Even a solar panel has twice the open voltage than the battery voltage in most cases.

    if the battery voltage is closer to the output of the turbine the blades will move faster and produce even more power for the batteries to absorb. In all reality , the amperage will probably stay the same but the voltage is higher. voltage x current(amperage) = watts. watts is the power.

    great that is just what you want to do.
    the diode bridge rectifiers are in paralel on the out puts so that the voltage remains lower. If you put them in series the voltage would be higher and the current would be half value.
    run your batteries in series to help match the output voltage. 3 or four batteries will put out more power over all,
    EXPLANATION= if you short out the wires the blades will stop. If your battery voltage is low the blades will spin slower and probably stall.

    series because the open voltage is real high. the higher you set the battery voltage the more you will be appreciating the unit. I suggest about 36 or 48 volts. This will alow the blades to turn a little faster and absorb more of the winds energy.
    Too low of a voltage might make the blades stall out early. when the blades spin faster the voltage is higher and the wires dont heat up as much to deliver the same power, thus the blades being more efficient and higher voltage, it makes more power.

  25. Well fast charging …
    Well fast charging a battery will heat it up a bit and is not realy good for it. but if you want to calculate the time to recharge. I would say you already have amps stored in the battery if it is any good, so i would charge it at 15 to 20 for an hour and then drop down to 4 or 5 amps for trickel charge , till the voltage on the battery can stay at 13.8 volts on its own.
