1980s Chunky GE Vent 48” Ceiling Fan

A good old chunky polished brass 1980s ceiling fan that I got on Kijiji for 25$. It used to have a huge chandelier style light kit but I removed it as I don’t like ceiling fans with light kits, especially not in a bedroom. I repolished the metal, refinished the plain side of the blades and oiled the motor. It weights 30LBS! It have one of those heavy duty monster Made in Hong Kong motor. On medium(120RPM) it blow as much air as a cheap quality today’s fan would do on high. On high it goes at about 270-280RPM! No kidding! It have a 52” motor/housing size but 48” blade span, that’s what makes it particulary powerful. It was in a house that was built in 1986 so I guess the fans is dated for that year as it does not have any date on it. But it looks older because of its bell canopy and its tickness and all. It does not have any particular brand on it but I know its made in the same factory that mades St-Louis and Winco fans. The sticker on it looks like an Evergo sticker.
The reason why I was talking so fast is because I can’t do videos longer than 10mins and I had to rush so the video would be under 10mins. I cut on time at 9:53! Ouff!

Duration : 0:9:53
